Love Gone Apparel to Dress Music’s Elite at WJRR’s EarthDay Birthday 19

Rock Stars to Flaunt Rock-Inspired Tees Backstage and Onstage

Vero Beach, FL – April 2, 2012 - Love Gone Apparel, a line of apparel with a rock & roll edge founded by 12-year entrepreneur at the age of 10, is excited to announce their partnership with The Backstage Divas for this year’s 101.1 WJRR EarthDay Birthday 19. The partnership gives the Love Gone Apparel founder, Megan Kent, the opportunity to dress some of the music industry’s elite who will be performing at the annual event taking place at Tinker Field in Orlando, FL on April 14th.

EarthDay Birthday 19 performers will include Godsmack, Staind, Chevelle, The Used, Theory of a Deadman, Trivium, Pop Evil, Taproot, Halestorm, Falling in Reverse, Soil, Hurt, Evans Blue, Indestructible Noise Command, SoulSwitch, The SuperVillains, Howi from Ballyhoo, Stellar Revival and Look Right Penny.

This isn’t the first opportunity where Miss Kent has had opportunity to attend and mingle with celebrities and musicians. February of 2011, she attended the Alive! Expo Oscar’s Suite in Hollywood where she rubbed shoulders with Quinton Aaron from The Blindside; Travis Aaron Wade who has appeared on CSI and most recently on Fox Network’s Alcatraz; and Natasha Alam who appeared on True Blood, to name a few. In addition, Miss Kent has had the opportunity to dress Mark Goodwin, the drummer for the Sick Puppies, as well as the Sick Puppies lead singer, Shim. The Love Gone line is also worn by Jonathan Montoya, formerly of Saliva and now with A New Rebel; Jason Null of Saving Abel and A New Rebel; Chuck Garric, bass player for Alice Cooper; Suite Caroline, a 14-year up-and-comer who recently opened for Reba McEntire and band members from 9 Left Dead, Star City Meltdown with members from Drowning Pool and Black Veil Brides, Dorydrive, UK-based Bury the Ladybird, etc.

“Not only do I listen to many of these musicians, but they’re also the same people who fueled my inspiration in designing the Love Gone collection. I couldn’t be more thrilled to have them wearing my creations,” said Miss Kent. “And to have the opportunity to meet these amazing bands at my age, well, let’s just say my friends will never believe me.”

Fans of the EarthDay Birthday 19 lineup will have an opportunity to bid on merchandise autographed by the #EDBD19 musicians. All proceeds from the raffle will go to support the Mardy Fish Foundation, Headquartered in Vero Beach, the Mardy Fish Foundation provides children access to after school exercise, nutritional and enrichment programs in a safe environment to prepare them for healthy, productive and successful lives so they can achieve their dreams.
